Danny Flood

Joined Snuff Puppets in 1992, currently serving as promo and tour manager, digital producer and puppeteer, with arts sector experience since the late 1980s.

Over more than three decades with Snuff Puppets, Dan has contributed as puppeteer, lighting designer and operator, production and tour manager, publicist, board member, artistic associate, website and social media manager.

Award recognition includes Access News Channel 31’s ‘Activism in Arts’ award for a Melbourne laneways graffiti campaign (2000) and the Maribyrnong Truck Action Group’s ‘Community Super Hero Award’ (2020).

Multi-media art installations exhibited at Big West Festival, Centre for Contemporary Photography, St Kilda Film Festival & the State Film Centre.

Puppetry performances include New York’s Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena with Creature Technology Company and the BBC, plus a year-long Beijing residency performing animatronic puppets with Dreamworks (2014).

Additional puppetry credits include Melbourne’s Sanctum Theatre, A Blanck Canvas, Balooga, Polyglot Theatre, and Amsterdam’s Theatre of Hell.
