We honour and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Country. Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land.
Meet the Boom Family, Aussie battlers from Geelong.
With heights of up to four metres, they stand tall, and never get lost in a crowd.
For decades, this fun-loving clan – made up of Mum, Dad, Grandpa, and two cheeky kids, Scotty and Kelly – has been entertaining festival goers with their larger-than-life presence.
From Australia to Europe, Hong Kong to Korea, and beyond, they’ve entertained crowds with their infectious energy and hilarious antics.
And in 2022, we gave The Boom Family a full refurbishment for their appearance at the Melbourne Fringe Parade. With their refreshed look, these giants are ready to tour again.
The Boom Family were originally created in 1998 for Boomtown with Back to Back Theatre in Geelong.
