From the cool rivers of Northern Tasmania comes the largest freshwater invertebrate in the world. Asta is over seven metres in length, with piercing eyes, ten moving limbs and a vibrant blue shell. But be careful – logging and habitat loss can bring out his grumpy side, and those pincers aren’t just for show!
