Are You Our New Producer?

Snuff Puppets ProducerSnuff Puppets are recruiting our new Producer. In a small team, this role is essential for bringing our giant puppet spectacles to the world.

Overview of Role:

The Producer will assist the Artistic Director in the development and realisation of the company’s annual program with a particular focus on local programming. The Producer will manage the logistics, coordination and planning for all local workshop and performance programming, and Snuff Puppets’ new artistic development program: Snuff Lab. They will have the opportunity to create new projects, opportunities and partnerships for Snuff Puppets that align with the company’s strategic direction. There is scope for this role to expand with the right candidate into our international and national programming.

Hours: 2-3 days per week
Salary: $25-30,000 per annum plus 9.5% super (approx. $50-60,000 pro-rata)
Leave: 4 weeks pro-rata annual leave accrued per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Company Manager to assist the Artistic Director and Executive Producer in the realisation of the company’s annual program. You will be responsible for financial management, maintaining the daily operations of the company, and all administration, marketing, and reporting requirements to funders and partners.

Major responsibilities are:

  •       In conjunction with the Executive Producer, develop and manage annual and project budgets
  •       Sourcing new and alternative funding opportunities and revenue streams
  •       Prepare and manage all funding applications and acquittals for all successful funding, including triennial funding agreements with Arts Victoria and Australia Council
  •       To support and promote the company’s activities and aims within the industry and the general public throughout Australia and internationally.
  •       Coordinate and manage all administrative tasks including bookkeeping and human resources

Sheah Sutton appointed Executive Producer
