The first Skullie puppets were created in 1991 and are the bones of the company. Skullies exist in the space between life and death, between puppets and humans. Skullies often appear in Snuff Puppet shows, as silent MCs and stage managers, weaving together the different elements of our theatrical worlds. Each puppet has over 60 individually hand-carved bones stitched between 2 layers of cotton lycra.
